State Testing
Greetings Parents/Guardians:
STATE TESTING has officially started as of Tuesday, April 16th. Testing will continue until May 8th. This is a very important time for our school and the community. This is where we demonstrate that our students here at H. W. Byers Elementary are capable of performing as well as other students all over the state of Mississippi. We have worked hard all year and now we must perform when and where it matters most.
Please respect this time as we only get one shot. There will be limited access to the campus during our testing window.
When it is all over and done with, we look forward to celebrating our students’ achievements.
Our goal is to maintain a B or move up to an A on the state accountability system. Our students have worked extremely hard to improve the school and we want to continue to achieve academic success.

Pruebas estatales
Saludos Padres/Guardianes:
Comenzaremos las exámenes estatales la próxima semana el martes 16 de abril. Las pruebas continuarán hasta el miércoles 8 de mayo. Este es un momento muy importante para nuestra escuela y la comunidad. Aquí es donde demostramos que nuestros estudiantes aquí en H. W. Byers Elementary son capaces de desempeñarse tan bien como otros estudiantes destacados en todo el estado de Mississippi. Hemos trabajado duro todo el año y ahora debemos actuar cuando y donde más importa.
Respete este tiempo ya que solo tenemos una oportunidad. Habrá acceso limitado a la escuela durante nuestra ventana de prueba.
Cuando todo haya terminado, esperamos celebrar los logros de nuestros estudiantes.
Nuestro objetivo es mantener una B o ascender a una A en el sistema estatal de rendición de cuentas. Nuestros estudiantes han trabajado extremadamente duro para mejorar la escuela y queremos continuar logrando el éxito académico.
